Master's of Social Work Student Organization (MSWSO)

Mission Statement
The Master of Social Work Student Organization (MSWSO) at the University of Texas at El Paso serves as a voice for students and as an advocacy tool that encourages students to become active in our border region community. The organization focuses on enhancing a student's learning experience by offering active participation in the social services field.

The goals of the organization include:
1. Promotion of social and economic justice through participation in the multicultural and bi- national community of El Paso.
2. Encouraging social change through involvement in university projects and events.

The organization strongly encourages community involvement and serves as a liaison for students when accessing our community.
